‘Bunny Names’ strategy: Remember how young Andrew Carnegie created free food for his newly-born bunny rabbits?
Little Andrew was having a hard time providing for the 7 new bunnies. After much thinking, he told the boys and girls in the neighborhood that if they would collect enough plants to feed the rabbits, he would name the bunnies in their honor. The bunnies never went hungry again.
Andrew went on to do the same with Carnegie Steel Company. He proposed renaming the steel mill to Edgar Jones Company when he tried to sell it to Mr. Edgar Jones, and got him very excited.
A person’s name is the sweetest sound in the world to the person. Naming a building or an award after someone can earn millions.
This week, let’s try to create resources by giving importance to people’s names.
