Le Pont de Vie Restaurant

by Sally on September 18, 2009

in Food

A reader Robert recently shared his experience at Le Pont de Vie.

I was recently at the restaurant Le Pont de Vie which has introduced a menu featuring dishes from different European countries which I thought was quite cool. As well as French and Italian, they have dishes from Austria, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Scandinania and the UK. We all enjoyed the chance to get different dining styles under one roof – most unusual.

lepontdevieThis Two Star Le Pont de Vie restaurant set in the historic Kampung Glam, one of Singapore’s upcoming dining destinations. With free evening parking, quaint shops and monumental backdrops, Kampung Glam is one of the best preserved heritage districts. [click to continue…]

pizzaWhen anyone thinks about Italian food, there’s little doubt that the golden couple of pizza and pasta jumps into mind immediately. And now you can taste the fresh authentic creations of Chef Antonio Manetto in his new venture, Bella Pizza.

Bella Pizza’s riverside view of smooth waters banked by gentle greenery and flowing under one of Singapore’s most historic bridges is also sure to charm the eyes and help improve the appetite! [click to continue…]

recipe-puppyI like cooking and I enjoy it. Let me share a tool I just found earlier today with those who also love cooking. Recipe Puppy is an ingredient based recipe search engine. Is your fridge nearly empty? You can use Recipe Puppy to find recipes that don’t require a trip to the store.

It can find recipes that fit your dietary requirements or combine two seemingly unrelated ingredients. Recipe Puppy makes it easy to find the recipes you actually want in three simple steps:

1. Pick a dish (ie pasta, green curry, pizza, chocolate chip cookies)
2. Select the ingredients you want to use
3. Get a list of recipes you can make
