General Guideline

  • Post must be original pieces and useful to people in Singapore.
  • Post can be promotional; but the benefit must be clear to consumers. Disclosure need be included.
  • Post will be reviewed within 24 hours.

What to Write About

  • Your expertise. Anything a normal consumer may be interested.
    • How-to Guide
    • Tips on…
  • Singapore Events
  • Sales & Promotions relevant to consumers in Singapore
  • Your experience
    • Compliment a vendor or service
    • Report terrible experience in Singapore (or relevant to people in Singapore)
    • Products or service review
    • Share what you come across in the street
  • Others that people in Singapore are interested to know

Media Content

You can publish images and/or videos on sgcGO.com. However, they must be hosted offsite. For videos, you can upload to YouTube. For images, you can upload to imageshack.us or Facebook. You can apply here to be able to upload images directly to sgcGO.com if you are able to (1) align images (2) compress images (3) resize images.

Image size: all images can NOT be wider than 470px or bigger than 30K.

Elements of A Post

Every post must have the following components and only the following:

  • Post Title
  • Content
  • Category (Pick one most relevant category)

Please only complete the post title, content area, and category for each post. Ignore all other options such as tags, post image, … Images are supposed to be inserted to the relevant position of the post in content area only.

Upload Profile Photo

In order to have a photo of yours to show with the your posts headline, you can upload a compressed photo of 50px x 50px in “Your Profile” section on the left menu after login. Here is a tool you can optimize your photo.
