Specializing in modern interpretations of classic Thai cuisine, the restaurant prides itself in bringing delicious and sophisticated Thai creations to the table. Never settling for mediocrity and being avid foodies themselves, Kha’s owners brought in acclaimed Australian consultant chef David Hamilton — a veteran of 5-star resorts Banyan Tree and Trisara in Phuket, and Bangkok’s Dream Hotel.
With Hamilton at the helm of the cuisine, Kha is set to wow its diners with his signature touch of culinary magic.
Opened in March 2008, Kha is a rustic and relaxed contemporary Thai restaurant located in Singapore’s latest gardening and lifestyle hub, HortPark. Kha takes its name from galangal – an essential ingredient in thai cuisine, and is also part of a word in a traditional female Thai greeting. It is the second to open in the Epicure group of restaurants conceptualized by young Singaporean businesswoman Yenn Wong and her partners.
Kha Locations
Kha is located in HortPark, the first location along Hyderabad Road on the left once you turn into the lane. Landmark to look out for is the Alexandra Arch (just before the turning into Hyderabad Road), a white overhead link bridge with a curved deck and tilted arch which spans across Alexandra Road like an opened leaf.
