Glanced at an ad in today’s Today newspaper and found Lion Air, which seems a new airline to me. Have you heard of Lion Air before? A brief introduction about Lion Air.
Lion Air started as a one-plane airline that first flew in 2000, and it’s Indonesia’s leading budget airline carrier now with operate 37 planes flying to not only all of Indonesia’s major cities and wondrous tourist destinations, but to Singapore, Penang and Kuala Lumpur as well.
Ok, now you have one more budget airline to choose if you’d like to fly to Bali or Ho Chi Ming city.

i wanna buy tieck
Their online reservation does not work. I selected flights, and then attempted to pay, but it took me back to the main page. Yes, I registered, but when I could not remember my password, there was no way of retrieving it.
I laughed when I went to Merpati’s internet reservation page and saw the words “under construction” – but at least they were honest.
I tried calling the reservations numbner in Jakarta, but the line quality was so poor, I could barely hear the person at the other end. (And I thought Indian call centres were bad!)
I will now have to wait until the end of Chinese New Year to find a travel agent in Singapore in order to book the flight.
Dear Sir,
It is with frustration I write this email to you. I had registered for a ticket to Bali with my daughter. However, when I keyed in my daughters name as Venesha d/o Rajeswari Brown the system refused to accept it due to the fact that my name is Rajeswari Brown hence the name was appearing twice. Now I understand from your stamford office that I have to go down personally to get the name rectified. As I do not have the time hence I applied online and now it is very upsetting that I have to go to your office to revalidate the name. So much time is wasted due to this one transaction. I hope you will have a better system installed instead of causing so much of frustration to your valued passengers. it is not my fault when your system refuses to comply. The system is so inefficient in that case.
I wish Lion Air will make life easier for passengers buying tickets online. Your staff refuses to accept fax or email correspondence. Having paid for my tickets Lion Air is not flexible in it’s transactions. It’s electronic ticket for god sake, why do you make passengers take a trip to your office to rectify a small issue. An Agent would be a better choice than getting into this mess.
A very upset passenger.
Thanks Rajewari for sharing with us your experience with Lion Air. Should you have any further inquiries, please contact Lion Air directly.
Sally
