MCYS (Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports) has launched a free online marriage records search service to allow individuals to search for the marital status of a prospective spouse.
Anyone with a SingPass can conduct an online search. However, the number of free searches will be limited to two per person over a 12-month period. The public can opt for a paid search service providing both online and hardcopy information at $35.
You can access the online service by logging onto Registry of Marriages website or The Registry of Muslim Marriages website.
