My friend, Melissa Toh, took her life early on Wednesday morning. Leaving everyone shocked and grieving. I love her drawings, and I read her blog sometimes. I love her poems, and I liked the way she expresses herself not only through words but also through her drawings. Most people might term my relationship with her more of an acquaintance than a friend, but no. In my heart, Melissa was a friend.
I understand Melissa was very upset, but I can’t agree with anyone ending his/her life so easily. I know it might not be fair for me or anyone to judge her; she could go through tremendous pain and sadness. But, I believe there is difficulty in every part of life: school, marriage, family,…
How do you feel when you cook yourself a delicious dinner after careful preparation with heart? Not only delicious but “beautiful”. An old saying everyone knows, “no pain; no gain.” Sometimes we need to be strong to “fight” with life.
Think abou the less fortunate; some don’t even have the chance to fight with life. If you do, be strong. Talk out loud to your close friends or family to share

I think people don’t want “beautiful things to just go away”. It could be not only appearances but also other traits.

3. Was she having problems with her studies?
4 Did she pass her exams?
5 Was she having boyfriend and girfriend problems?
6 What happened to her in her final days of life?
7 Did she seek help in her final moment to suicide?
8 Had she had siblings?
9 Had she had parents?
10 Did she write any blog.. and where is it, please?
she wasn’t simply a “pretty girl”. she was beautiful both inside and out, making a difference in the lives of those around her. so Observer, don’t judge based on your biased opinions.

I am here after finding out about this person`s passing as i was visiting the church where her remains lay.I would like to convey my respects to her family even though i do not know her.But as i stepped through the halls where the remains are,Melissa was the first person I first noticed as i was actually heading to view the site where my grand uncle remains are.But I am here to tell you that i think from what i read above about Melissa she is a caring person and a wonderful friend.I believe as i stepped about to pass her she gave me the intention to see the date she unfortunately passed on and the date which she was born.As a shock it is to see a person so beautiful and about the same age as I am to pass on from this world.Why her life was taken we will never know the reason for sure.She has given me the realization of how short and sudden life can be.So i am here to say my respects to her and to all who posted unrelated respectful comments to shut up and not say what matters if a person is who or what they are.This is to pay respects and condolences not comment about fat or thin or what so ever.Once again to her family and friends and Melissa my condolences from the deepest of my heart.
