NYT: W.H.O. Reports Swine Flu Up to Almost 1,000 Cases

With swine flu now widespread in the United States, the World Health Organization reported Monday that the disease had widened globally, too, with 985 laboratory confirmed cases in 20 countries, compared to 898 reported in 18 countries on Sunday.
