BookFest@Singapore 2008 promotes culture and education; it offers a plethora of opportunities for learning; it is the platform that provides fuel for your thoughts.
BookFest@Singapore 2008 will take place this year across a floor area of 100,000 sq ft at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre Hall 601- 603 over two weekends from 14 to 23 November 2008.
Expect an extravaganza of great reads, promotions and exciting activities for the whole family, with an extensive showcase of the best and latest books, stationery, educational aids, electronic and multimedia products from leading publishers and distributors from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom and the United States.
Also not to be missed are the variety of engaging activities and performances over its 10-day duration, including interactive and fun programmes for the children, new book and product launches, appearances by international celebrities and renowned local and overseas authors (such Hong Kong writers Nieh Chung and Chua Lam, as well as China’s Wang Li Qun and Cheng Junyi), educational and health talks, as well as dynamic stage performances.
Organised by POPULAR Holdings Limited, BookFest@Singapore 2008 is conceived with the objective of promoting a vibrant environment of reading and learning, hence its theme every year is “Read to Learn” This year will be no different. Additionally, this year’s fair has also taken on a more lifestyle approach, and aims to demonstrate how all of us have the power to enhance our lives and achieve the success that we want to.
