RSAF Open House 2011: 28 & 29 May

Singapore RSAF Open House 2011, will be held at Paya Lebar Air Base this year and is open to the public from 28 to 29 May 2011 (9.30 am to 7 pm on 28 May; 8.30 am to 7 pm on 29 May).

Since our Air Force establishment as the Singapore Air Defence Command in 1968, it has made significant progress through its transformation efforts. Today, our Air Force possesses some of the world’s most advanced weapon systems operated by dedicated professionals to Defend Our Skies.

So visit the Open House 2011 in May to find out more on the RSAF organisational structures, operating concepts and people of Our Air Force.

Aerial display is one of the all time favorite programme at the RSAF Open House! This year, the 30 minutes aerial display will feature fast-paced actions by the F-15SG fighter aircraft, F-16C/D fighter aircraft , AH-64D attack helicopters, as well as the AS-332 Super Puma and CH-47 Chinook helicopters. In addition, the Red Lions will be dropping from thousands of feet in the sky as part of their free fall display. You won’t want to miss this!

In addition to the dazzling display of how Our Fighter Aircraft Defend Our Skies, witness our Ground-Based Air Defence systems such as 35mm Oerlikon Guns, I-Hawk and mechanised IGLA in action to provide multiple layers of Air Defence. In the last part of the display, there will also be an exciting demonstration of how the RSAF aircraft integrates with the Army units to repel the enemy forces!

How to Get There


  • From North-East line, alight at Hougang MRT Station. Take the free shuttle service available at Hougang SBS Transit Bus Interchange.
  • From East-West line, alight at Eunos MRT Station. Take the free shuttle service* available at Eunos SBS Transit Bus Interchange.

Via Bus

Hop onto Bus Service (SBS) 90 (Toa Payoh SBS Transit Bus Interchange) or 94 (Eunos SBS Transit Bus Interchange) and alight at the designated bus stop opposite Air Force Museum. (Please note that Bus Service (SBS) 94 is not available on Sunday)

Via Taxi

There will be a designated Taxi drop-off point located along Airport road, just opposite the RSAF Open House entrance

Time: 1100 and 1630 hrs
The aerial display will be held for a time period of 35 minutes.
