Audi’s 2011 A8 Sedan has an aluminum body, dubbed the Audi Space Frame, that weighs 40% less than a comparable steel structure. Google Maps Singapore
At least, it’s an exciting news to me. Singapore is the first country in the world to launch a comprehensive range and nation-wide coverage of land travel planning tools, from walking to public transit to traffic, on Google Maps.
Commuters and motorists can now better plan their trips on Google Maps through a unique collaboration between Google and LTA. Mapping, directions and route planning for various forms of land transport modes – from buses to trains to cars to even by walking – are now all available for free on Google Maps. As announced by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) on 29 August 2009, the electronic day licence (e-Day Licence) will replace the current paper licence from 23 November 2009 when an Off-Peak Car (OPC) is used during restricted hours.
From today, OPC owners can buy the e-Day Licences for use from 23 November 2009. In addition to the existing channels such as SingPost outlets and Automobile Association of Singapore offices, OPC users have the added flexibility of buying the e-Day Licences online anytime between 6am and midnight daily through the following: [click to continue…]

Stuttgart-based sports car maker will unveil the new Porsche 911 GT3 for the Singaporean market on September 5th, and to spice things up, the GT3 will race the Boeing 747 aircraft (from Jett8) at the Changi Airport. The event, which is Asia’s first ever jetliner-versus-car race, will be opened to 200 members of the public (grandstand view).
