At least, it’s an exciting news to me. Singapore is the first country in the world to launch a comprehensive range and nation-wide coverage of land travel planning tools, from walking to public transit to traffic, on Google Maps.

Commuters and motorists can now better plan their trips on Google Maps through a unique collaboration between Google and LTA. Mapping, directions and route planning for various forms of land transport modes – from buses to trains to cars to even by walking – are now all available for free on Google Maps. F1 Road Closure From 23 Sep

A series of F1 road closures affecting the Marina Centre area will take place from 23 September 2009 to 29 September 2009 to facilitate the setting up and dismantling of the race infrastructure. You can view the map here.

The road closures for F1 will be implemented in phases to minimize disruption to the public. To ensure business continuity for establishments in the Marina Centre area, a limited number of pre-assigned passes have been given to the stakeholders to allow them access to their buildings via roads with restricted access control.
