Never heard of Transsexual Miss World competition? It’s my first time. Haruna Ai, a Japanese television host, was crowned the world’s most beautiful transsexual at a pageant in Thailand.
Miss International Queen 2009
Haruna Ai, aged 37, beat 20 other contestants at the Miss International Queen 2009 at the Thai beach resort of Pattaya. She won 10,000 dollars, a year’s stay at a Pattaya hotel, and a 500-dollar surgical voucher.
Chinese Maggie Gao won Miss World Shenzhen this year whose title was withdrawn when she was found out to be a man.
While we are having fun watching the transsexual Miss World, keep in mind this competition is more for a boost in public awareness of transgender and related issues. It’s impossible for us to understand what they think and how they feel unless we try.

IMHO, Thailand transsexuals are prettier than transsexuals in other countries.
