Unemployment Rates Around The World

visualeconomics.com released a graph showing the unemployment rates around the world. Most of the world’s advanced economies have taken a hit to their labor force in the form of lost jobs during the recession. These are the figures for Asia countries:

  • Hong Kong: 5.3%
  • Japan: 5.2%
  • Singapore 3.2%
  • South Korea: 3.9%
  • Taiwan: 5.7%
