in Internet

A friend asked me how to embed YouTube video in PowerPoint slides; I did a little research and found a plugin that can help embed YouTube video in PowerPoint slides. Isn’t it cool to play YouTube video in a presentation?

Embed YouTube Video in PowerPoint Slides to Play with Internet

Simply download a plugin here; have it installed in your toolbar. Then, just type the URL of the YouTube video and follow the wizard to add the YouTube video player in your current slide. YouTube videos are streamed so a live internet connection is required to playback the video during the slideshow.

Play YouTube Video in PowerPoint Slides without Internet

The place you are going to do your presentation may not have Internet connection; but, don’t worry. Simply follow these 2 steps:

  1. Download the YouTube video with Zamar to your local disk in either Windows Media or AVI format
  2. In your PowerPoint, go to “Insert –> Movie –> ‘Movie from file’ ” to put the YouTube video in the current slide.

Now you know how to embed YouTube video in PowerPoint slides.
