Japan counts 11 institutions in the top 200 and Hong Kong has five institutions in the top 200, up from four last year. China replicated its standing from last year, with two institutions in the top 100 and a total of six in the top 200 university rankings 2009. And, Singapore counts 2 universities: Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is ranked 73 (from last year’s 77) and National University of Singapore (NUS) is still ranks 30th, the same as last year.
US News & World Report just came out with its rankings of the best universities in the World. NUS is ranked No. 4 in Asia; and NTU No. 12. Singapore’s got the world’s best universities! Aren’t you proud?
